Tupac's Final Words Revealed
. But less eloquent were Tupac's final words. According to a police officer on the scene of the drive-by shooting on Sept. 7, 1996, Shakur's last words were simple: "F- you." An interview with that officer, Chris Carroll, reveals what occurred the night the rapper was shot at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Las Vegas. According to the interview, published in Vegas Seven, Tupac was initially noncooperative and attempting to figure out what had happened - but soon, his resolve changed. "And he went from struggling to speak, being noncooperative, to an 'I'm at peace' type of thing. Just like that." He added that the rapper later began gurgling and fell unconscious, leading to his eventual stay in a hospital before his death on Sept. 13. But before then, he was able to manage those final words to Carroll. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
