Jimmy Page's Berklee Music Commencement Speech Goes Online
. On hand to receive an honorary degree from the prestigious music school, Page was asked to deliver the address to the 2014 graduates at Boston University's Agganis Arena. "This is absolutely so amazing and it's such a privilege to be part of this and to feel all the energy from you graduates," began Page. "Congratulations to all of you." Caught up in the spirit of the event, the guitarist discarded his planned speech, saying, "Here I am, a busking musician trying to busk my speech." Page went on to discuss some of his personal history of learning music (self-taught), the relevance of studying music and his impressions of Berklee.
