Scotty McCreery Robbed During Home Invasion

(Radio.com) Country singer and American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and some of his friends were robbed at the friend's home during a home invasion early on Monday morning.

The armed robbery took place in Raleigh, N.C. early Monday morning (May 5) in an apartment where McCreery had been visiting friends. The apartment is close to North Carolina State University, where 20-year-old McCreery is a student.

According to Raleigh's WRAL.com, Raleigh Police said that officers were called to the apartment just before 2am Monday morning. Three armed men had entered the apartment and taken wallets, cash and electronic items during the incident. McCreery was among the robbery victims. Fortunately no one was hurt. more on this story
