Paul Oakenfold Reveals Trance Mission Release Details
. "This album is called Trance Mission - because it's filled with a selection of my favorite trance records from the last 25 years and it's been a bloody mission to finish," Oakenfold said in a press release, "but I like to think there's something for every one of my fans - including those who see me as a trance DJ, those that see me more lined with house and those that know me for my background in film and score. Let's cut to the chase - f- the boundaries, f- genres and the f- rules and regulations. Your Mission is to just listen." Working on the album for the last six months, Oakenfold stresses the fact that these new recordings aren't just remixes, but full-fledged cover versions, boiled down from an original shortlist of thirty tracks after combing through piles of old live sets and DJ mixes. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
