Framing Hanley Singled Out Week: Twisted Halos
. Another song we did with the talented Eric Bass. This was the very last song we wrote for the album, and is one of my favorites. I remember 2 am us just going into the live room at the studio, and just saying "let's have fun with this one. No rules, just write." "We are all a little wicked. Heaven sent; halos twisted." We are all jadedwe all possess that flawwhatever it may be for any given person. Humans in general are not the kindest of species. We bitch & moan about things, instead of taking the time to fix them. We preach about kindness towards others, yet yell at the homeless man we pass on the walk to work every morning. It's very easy to point out the flaws in others; it's hard as hell though to take accountability for your own problems. That was the idea behind that song.
