Mahone told Radio.com that "Banga Banga" was a "baby step," that he's still finishing his long-expected debut album and shared some advice he got from Taylor Swift while opening for her on the Red Tour.

"With Taylor Swift, she puts on a two hour show," Mahone said. "The whole thing is a story and it keeps people drawn in to it so they don't get bored. I can definitely learn a lot from that."

Ms. Swift also told Mahone to be careful who he hangs out with. "She's always told me to keep a tight circle," he explained. "And always be close to my friends and family that I've been with since the beginning."
