Metallica To Premiere New Song At Tour Kick Off This Weekend

The group posted an image of the four members in deep discussion about the track, along with the message: "Working out the kinks in the new song that we'll be debuting in South America in a couple days." The band's 2014 concert schedule features a "Metallica By Request" format, which sees fans vote on 17 songs the band will perform along with one new tune in the set. The South American schedule runs to March 30, following which the band will bring its "request" show to Europe for dates beginning May 28 in Helsinki, Finland and to the Heavy Montreal festival in August.
