The film was produced by Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn, whose previous work includes the award winning concert films "Iron Maiden: Flight 666" and "Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage".

Eagle Rock states "Super Duper Alice Cooper" will be the very first "doc opera" film, which is a blend of documentary archive footage, animation, and rock opera.
