Chris Brown Could Face Jail Time For Misdemeanor Assault

. (Radio.com) Chris Brown could be facing time behind bars very soon after forgoing a plea deal that would have kept him out of jail. According to reports, the singer was close to reaching a plea deal in regards to a case that involved a fight he had with a fan last year in Washington D.C. outside of the W Hotel.

Prosecutor Kevin Chambers said that Brown was offered a deal to plead guilty to simple assault and time served in the case but no one could agree what actually happened outside of the W Hotel that day.

According to CBS DC, the police gave details of the incident, which took place on October 2013, writing that Brown broke the defendant's nose outside of the W Hotel when he tried to get a picture of the singer.

In the report, the alleged victim, Parker Isaac Adams, 20, said Brown told him, "I'm not down with that gay s-t," and, "I feel like boxing." Brown and his bodyguard went on to allegedly hit the man. more on this story
