Ozzy Lands Role As Punk Rock Fish On Kid's TV Show

. (Radio.com) Ozzy Osbourne just got his next big TV role - and it's as a cartoon fish whose name is strikingly similar to a fellow controversial rock star. Rolling Stone reports that Osbourne will voice a character in the Nickelodeon children's TV show Bubble Guppies. He'll play Sid Fishy, a "rock and roll fish who just loves being rotten."

Sound familiar? Though the likeness is a bit different, Sid Fishy seems to bear some similarity to Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious - with perhaps some Johnny Rotten thrown in there too.

The town of Bubbletucky's equivalent of a punk rocker is known for his slime spray, which he uses to terrorize the town's residents. "The green liquid is Sid Fishy's 'stink sauce' made up of different smells such as stinky socks and rotten eggs," a show representative told Rolling Stone. "He wants to use the stink sauce to cover Big Bubble City and all its citizens to make them stinky." More details.
