Electric Daisy Carnival Promoter Releases More Tickets

(Radio.com) Electric Daisy Carnival promoter Pasquale Rotella took to his Instagram account over the weekend to warn fans against buying scalped tickets to this year's EDC in Las Vegas set for this weekend (June 20-22), announcing that more passes had been released in an effort to accommodate demand.

"I've seen a lot of people trying to buy/sell tickets online and want to remind you to be careful of scammers & ticket fraud!" Rotella wrote. "The SAFEST way to buy a ticket is directly through us! We recently announced a limited release of #EDCLV tickets because of this issue."

The annual EDM music festival has become so wildly popular that this year's event was sold out before the lineup was even announced, which sent many fans scrambling to find a way in, including into the waiting hands of scalpers charging exorbitant fees for tickets.

"If you're still in need of a ticket, DO NOT buy one from a scalper - you should only consider purchasing from us or a trusted friend," Rotella said via Instagram, providing a link to purchase passes. "If you arrive at EDC Las Vegas with an illegitimate ticket, we cannot provide a refund or another pass, and you will be out of luck." more on this story
