George Harrison Memorial Tree Destroyed By Beetles
. According to the Los Angeles Times, trees in Griffith Park have occasionally been destroyed by bark beetles and ladybug beetles. The paper also reported that the pine tree, which grew to be over 10-feet tall, will be replaced, but no timeframe has been given as of yet.
