Jack Russell's Great White Finishing Work On New Album

(Classic Rock) Jack Russell's Great White are nearing completion of their debut album - and the vocalist has hailed bandmate Tony Montana as the catalyst for a new lease of life.

The former Great White members have put legal battles over the band name behind them, with the original band continuing to use the title and Russell moving forward with his own name at the front.

The frontman tells SleazRoxx: "Tony was the catalys - I was never as close to him as I am now. We never had the opportunity to write music together before. I also never knew he played guitar. When I first heard him, I nearly fell of my chair.

"He's my co-pilot - he's one of my best friends. I wish we would have been this close back in the day." What will the new material sound like?
