Karmin Unveils New Song, New Tour, New Style
. "I Want It All" is the second single to be released from their new album, Pulses. With the official video coming out on January 28th they thought it would be cool to release a lyric video previewing the real thing. "We just shot the video, we threw up a lyric video which is actually the storyboard of the real video," said Heidemann. The idea came from the actual storyboard and the two artists wanted to show off the drawings. "Everytime you make a music video they make a storyboard and I was like, these drawings are really great, why don't we show that to the fans so they can see how it turned out on the 28th," said Heidemann. The lyric video blends well with their unique sound which the two previously called "swag pop" but are working towards a new genre. "Sonically, and also kind of style wise we call it future retroretro futureyea, retro-future," said Heidemann and Noonan. Inspiration comes to all artists from different areas and Karmin found theirs from two performers that also share unique vibes. "We love [Pharell], we always have. [And] we got to open for Robin Thicke last summer and we were really inspired by him too. It all happened at once," said Heidemann. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
