Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr To Reunite
. Access Hollywood reported on Monday that Starr confirmed to them that he will be reuniting with his former Beatles bandmate McCartney at "The Night That Changed America: A Grammys Salute to The Beatles." The event will be taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center next Monday, January 27th and it will air on CBS on February 9th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles historic appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show which launched Beatlemania in America. "To celebrate the 50 years since we landed in New York in February [1964], they are putting on a big show on Monday and we will be doing it there," Ringo told Access Hollywood. Apart from the previously announced one-off reunion of the Eurythmics at the special event and the McCartney and Starr reunion, the event will also feature performances from Alicia Keys and Keith Urban. The site also reported that Starr and McCartney will not be performing together at the Grammy Awards. Both are scheduled to perform at the event, but it appears it will be separately.
