David Bowie Nominated For Two BRIT Awards

(hennemusic) David Bowie has picked up a pair of nominations for the 2014 BRIT Awards. Bowie is a finalist for British Male Solo Artist and Album Of The Year for "The Next Day."

The BRIT Awards 2014 take place at London's O2 Arena on February 19 and will be broadcast live on ITV at 8pm GMT. "The Next Day", Bowie's first project in a decade, delivered the singer his first UK number 1 album in 20 years.

Bowie previously won the BRIT Award for Best Male category in 1984 and also went on to receive an "outstanding contribution" BRIT award in 1996. more on this story
