Steel Magnolia's Joshua Scott Jones Goes Beyonce For Debut Video
. As half of Steel Magnolia (with Meghan Linsey), Jones is best known for the duo's singles "Keep On Lovin' You," "Just By Being You (Halo and Wings)" and "Last Night Again." For his video debut as a solo artist, though, he took a cue from Beyonc's "Single Ladies." His "Honky (If You're Tonky)" video is a mostly black-and-white clip is built around two women dancing Texas two-step in the shadows. "I wanted to make a dance video, but a honky tonk style video, so we shot half of it in black and white, and the other half in color," Jones told Billboard. "It was me, and two dancers. One was my girlfriend. They choreographed it. They brought the vision to life. It's edgy, cool, and upbeat. I think it's something people won't want to take their eyes off of." Watch the video here.
