Lorde Used For Fan Made 'Game of Thrones' Trailer
. YouTube user LadyDogTrailers has assembled a new teaser pairing preview clips of the forthcoming season with Lorde's haunting cover of Tears for Fears' 1985 hit, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," which she recorded for the Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack. The cover works so well it sounds like it was tailor-made for the show. Though some would consider Chelsea Wolfe's "Feral Love," which actually soundtracks one of this season's trailers, as the ideal fit, it's a debatable point. Lorde's cover works just that well. Images of Joffrey Baratheon, Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen play perfectly over Lorde's measured and dramatic vocals. The clip culminates in an arresting image of Targaryen's dragon, now fully grown, flying over a fallen man and a herd of goats fleeing in panic. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
