Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire Lead Johnny Cash Music Festival
. The fourth annual festival, which celebrates the life and work of the country legend, will be held Aug. 15 at the Convocation Center at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark. The event will be hosted by singer and comedian Mark Lowry. All three headliners are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame (as is Cash). "If we had any one of these four individuals on the bill, we would have an extremely successful event, but having all four at once is a real coup," Carter said in a press statement. "When I was asked to perform there was absolutely no hesitation," echoed McEntire. "I have always had a great deal of respect for Johnny Cash, and not just because he was one of the finest entertainers, performers and recording artists this industry has ever known. It is also because of his compassion and generosity." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
