David Bowie Receives Innovator Award Honor

(hennemusic) David Bowie was honored with The Innovator Award at the Music Producers Guild Awards during an event that took place in London on Thursday.

The Music Producers Guild Awards is an annual event recognizing and celebrating some of the remarkable and exciting talent in the history of music recording.

Producer Tony Visconti was on hand to collect the honor on Bowie's behalf. "It is an honor and a privilege to accept this award on behalf of my friend and collaborator of 47 years, David Bowie," said Visconti. "He deserves it because he is the one and the only David Bowie." more on this story
