Metallica's Hammett Reunites With Exodus at Fear FestEvil

(hennemusic) Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett joined Exodus for a pair of songs Friday night in San Francisco at his first annual horror convention, Fear FestEvil, and video of the appearance has surfaced.

Hammett teamed up with his former band to perform "Piranha" and a cover of Blue Oyster Cult's "Godzilla" during their set at The Regency Ballroom; the guitarist was a member of Exodus before joining Metallica in 1983.

The three-day Fear FestEvil (February 6-8) features vending, live music, "Kirk's Crypt" private tours, panels, signings, special guest appearances and more. Check out the video here.
