Nikki Sixx Elevates SIXX A.M. To Main Band Status
. "SIXX: A.M. has been my SIDE project but after Mtley Cre is finished touring, it will become my MAIN project. I will finally have the time to commit to what so many have been asking for and that is a TOUR from SIXX: A.M." Sixx said the band would release its new album later this year, which the bassist had previously indicated would put more of a celebratory spin on the band compared to the previous two albums, This Is Gonna Hurt and The Heroin Diaries, telling Revolver magazine that the band put a lot fewer restrictions upon themselves during these sessions. "We went into genres that you wouldn't expect us to possibly be influenced by, but unless you know the bandmembers, you don't know that there are all kinds of influences, especially from the '70s and some of the great bands that came out of that era." more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
