Flume Releases Arcade Fire's Afterlife Remix
. Now, Flume has applied his deft remixing hand to "Afterlife," the beat-crazy second single from the Arcade Fire's latest full-length, Reflektor. As opposed to the complete overhaul the producer gave to "Tennis Court," his take on the Arcade Fire track leans more towards an extended edit, although Flume's signature warm organ sounds and skittering percussion have been tastefully slipped into the mix. Flume recently wrapped up a successful U.S. tour with a sold-out three-night stand at L.A.'s Club Nokia. He's also been spending lots of time with his much more aggressive dance project, What So Not, with fellow producer Emoh Instead. Give the new remix a listen here.
