Adam Lambert Releasing 'Best Of' Compilation Next Month

(Radio.com) It's been nearly a year since Adam Lambert announced that he was parting ways with RCA Records over "creative differences"- namely, RCA wanted him to do an album of '80s covers that he simply wasn't interested in.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter reports that RCA's parent company, Sony Music, will issue The Very Best of Adam Lambert, on May 27. And while Lambert's two-album catalog may seem a bit thin for a "very best of," the album will also draw from his time on American Idol and Glee.

His Idol performances of Tears for Fears' "Mad World," U2's "One" and Smokey Robinson's "The Tracks of My Tears" will be included on the album, as will his take on Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night," from Glee.
