Lorde Launching Cosmetics Line and Lands Teen Vogue Cover
. WWD reports that the two have unveiled a campaign featuring the singer wearing the two items that will bear her imprint: Pure Heroine lipstick (in her signature deep plum color with some added sparkle) and Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapidblack. Both will be available starting in July. Meanwhile, Lorde also lands the cover of Teen Vogue for the month of May, leading their music issue. In their interview, she addresses her take on fashion- or the ideas everyone else seems to have about her fashion. "There are a lot of expectations in this industry about looking a certain way and having a certain kind of appeal," Lorde tells the mag. "I am feminine, but I really love dressing in boys' clothes too. I guess that's why I get labeled as 'the grumpy girl,' because I don't play into that." Check out the cover shot, styled rather unusually for the magazine with a blanket instead of couture, here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
