Jennifer Hudson Releases Timbaland-Produced 'Walk It Out'
. Actually, it's yet another longtime producer in the genre, Timbaland, with whom Hudson's collaborated for the single, a fact set in stone around a minute into the song, when the producer's deep voice, vocal effects stacked atop, swoops in with a quick verse before the Oscar winner gets to work. "Walk It Out" is a smooth, slow-tempo jam featuring a chorus that jumps from one octave to another with relative ease. On the verses, Hudson croons to a dude who, if she didn't better, "I'd think you was flirting." She proceeds to turn the heat up a bit with lines like "I know you wanna take me to your room / And I wanna go your way / But you gotta treat me like a lady." The single follows a collaboration with T.I., "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)", which dropped last year. That song also featured production from a mega-producer with said "know-how"; that's where Pharrell came into the picture, continuing his recent streak of working with every artist ever.
