(Radio.com) The party wasn't over for Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic following their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Nirvana last Thursday night in Brooklyn.

The duo, along with Nirvana touring member Pat Smear, hit metal bar Saint Vitus Thursday night (April 10) to play a secret show of the band's hits and not-so-hits that included three of the four ladies from their Rock Hall induction performance (Lorde was like naaah) and a few additional friends.

Just as they did at the Barclays Center, the band kicked off the evening of music with "Smells Like Teen Spirit," covered faithfully by Joan Jett. Jett stuck around for five songs in all to start the set, also filling in on "In Bloom" and "All Apologies," the latter with Novoselic on accordion, before Dinosaur Jr.'s J. Mascis jumped behind the mic for three tunes, including "Drain You."

St. Vincent, who rocked out "Lithium" with the band at the induction, revisited the track for the second performance while also adding "About a Girl" and "Heart-Shaped Box." Then there was John McCauley of Deer Tick filling in on a five-song string of non-single tunes like "Tourette's" and "Scentless Apprentice."

It was Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon who finished off the evening, and like McCauley, she stuck mostly to the back catalog with "Aneurysm," "Negative Creep" and, finally, "Moist Vagina."

All in all, the group roared through 19 of the '90s rock royalty's songs before reportedly wrapping up at 4 a.m., according to Brooklyn Vegan.

The late finish followed a whirlwind day, during which Grohl and Novoselic, drummer and bassist, respectively, of the band, were inducted into the Rock Hall in the ceremony's closing moments.

""Don't look at the poster on your wall and say 'I could never do that,'" Grohl told the audience during his acceptance speech. "Look at it and say, 'I'm gonna do that!"
