(Radio.com) The Michael Cera-led Broadway show This is Our Youth is receiving a musical boost in the form of Vampire Weekend multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Batmanglij will contribute the score to This is Our Youth, an upcoming Broadway play starring Cera, Kieran Culkin and Tavi Gevinson.

The play, which centers around disenchanted '80s youth, has been around since 1996 but has never received a Broadway residency. Batmanglij, who helped form Vampire Weekend in 2006 and has either produced or co-produced each of the band's albums (Ariel Rechtshaid came onboard for 2013′s Modern Vampires of the City), previously worked on the score for 2011 film Sound of My Voice, which was directed by his brother, Zal. He also contributed a piano piece to Zal's 2013 film The East. more on this story
