David Bowie Tour Rumors Shot Down
. That's in response to a report from U.K. tabloid The Mirror, which wrote that Bowie was in the middle of a bidding war to return to live performing, particularly from Live Nation for a concert at London's Olympic Park in 2014. The Mirror also reported that AEG was close to a bid for Bowie, perhaps for a date at Hyde Park in London. Bowie hasn't performed onstage in eight years, but speculation has been rampant since Bowie released The Next Day to a nice share of publicity, it being the singer's first album of new material since 2003′s Reality.
