Bruce Springsteen To Play South Africa For The First Time

(hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform in South Africa in 2014 for the very first time. Springsteen will play three shows � two in Cape Town and one in Johannesburg � in late January/early February.

Also, on November 6, Bruce Springsteen will join Roger Waters and other performers for the 7th annual Stand Up For Heroes benefit as part of The New York Comedy Festival.

Organized by the Bob Woodruff Foundation, the event at the Theater at Madison Square Garden raises funds for injured service members, veterans and their families. In its first six years, the event has raised more than $16 million to support wounded warriors and their families. more on this story
