While many speculated that new music was on the way, today comes the announcement of Brooks' Black Friday concert special. Garth Brooks, Live From Las Vegas will air live on CBS November 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The broadcast will be Brooks' final performance of his long-running residency at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. The show will feature the country star in a "very intimate setting, playing his guitar as he takes the audience through the musical journey that led him to become the number one selling solo artist in U.S. history," a press release states. Throughout his set, Brooks will share his experiences with the musicians that shaped him as an artist, including Merle Haggard, George Jones, Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Geoge Strait, Otis Redding, Bob Seger and more. "Blame it all on my roots," Brooks said in the release. "This is the soundtrack of my life.
