Katy Perry Streaming Her New Album 'Prism' In Full
. "I didn't want to do Teenage Dream 2.0," Perry recently told Billboard about the new album, and how it compares to her last full-length, which was released in 2010. "Teenage Dream was highly conceptual, super-pop art. PRISM is more organic, au naturale, vulnerable and honest, but still has the same amount of fun." Prism has some pretty big shoes to fill following the stratospheric success of Teenage Dream, which boasted five No. 1 singles (matching Michael Jackson's Bad for most No. 1 hits on one album) and earning Perry a slew of high-profile GRAMMY nominations, including Album of the Year. When Prism does arrive on October 22, the first 300,000 copies of the CD will come in limited edition iridescent packaging and will include a special seed paper that be planted so fans can "spread the light," whatever that means. Perry will celebrate the album's release with a very special "We Can Survive" charity show on October 23 at the Hollywood Bowl. Thrown by Radio.com and Citi, the show features handpicked support acts Ellie Goulding, Tegan and Sara, Sara Bareilles and Kacey Musgraves and benefits the Young Survival Coalition, a global organization dedicated to critical issues unique to young women diagnosed with breast cancer. To donate directly to Young Survival Coalition, head to the YSC site or text "SURVIVE" to 80888 to give a one-time donation of $10. Listen to the album here.
