Hunter Hayes and Jason Mraz Release New Video
. The idea was originally sparked last spring between Hayes' record label, Warner Music, and executives at YouTube. With the hope to reach Generation C people the age of 18 to 34 who watch online videos the team contacted seven YouTube creators whose musical styles were compatible with Hayes and Mraz. The video features Tyler Ward, Kina Grannis, Peter Hollens and other YouTube artists who were asked to record their own cover of "Everybody's Got Somebody but Me," with all seven helping to make a new track. In an interview with Radio.com earlier this year, Hayes said working with Mraz was "perfect." "It all lined up quite magically without too much design," he said. Both Hayes and Mraz told the L.A. Times, they were surprised by the filming process at the YouTube offices. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
