Sugarland's Kristian Bush Releases First Solo Single
. The upbeat track showcases Bush's vocals at the forefront for the first time, with acoustic guitar and a distinct drum beat that brings to mind Keith Urban's lighthearted optimism on "Little Bit of Everything." First released in Europe back in March (as a thank you to fans who welcomed his solo tour there), "Love or Money" was released to radio stations and iTunes late last week. Bush made the announcement with a video message. In an interview with Taste of Country, the singer said he has written more in the last year than the previous five years combined. Penned with Jeff Cohen and Relient K's Matthew Thiessen, "Love or Money" came about during a casual conversation with the two. "Matt had just moved to town, and I asked him, 'Did you come here for love, or money?'" Bush explained in a recent Music Monday post on his website. "And then we all kind of looked at each other, and I said, 'Oh. We're about to write that song, aren't we?' Sometimes that's all it takes: just one great line." "Excited, there's no nervous or anxious about it, I don't think at all," he continued. "I'm just excited to get music out. I know that sounds cliche, but it's absolutely true and kind of the story of my year." Listen to the new song here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
