Paul McCartney Defends Miley Cyrus' Right to Twerk
. While pundits and artists alike have lined up to take pot shots at the young pop heroine, none less than the biggest rock star in the world has stood up and defended Cyrus' right to twerk to her heart's desire. In an interview with Sky News, Sir Paul McCartney strongly supported Cyrus, saying that he's even A-OK with his 10-year-old daughter tuning into the "Wrecking Ball" singer's controversial performances. "I watched it as an experiment to check, but you look at it and you say 'what's everyone shouting about?'" Sir Paul told Sky News presenter Charlotte Hawkins about Cyrus' VMAs performance. "I think it was only mildly shocking it wasn't explicit at all," going on to add, "Come on, we've seen worse than that!" more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
