. The release hit the No.1 spot on both sides of the Atlantic but has come in for criticism with Machine Head frontman Rob Flynn labeling it a "covers album". But speaking to TheMorningSun.com guitarist Zacky Vengeance explains the change in direction for the album, saying: "We took a conscious approach to try to write in a more direct fashion. Just by nature, we're always filled with so many ideas and want to cram as many ideas into a song as we can, and I think that gave us a lot of our signature sound.
