Kanye West Responds To President Calling Him a 'Jackass'
. Four years later, West has put that universal demonization namely President Obama's in perspective and responded to a question touching on it in an interview with Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9 (via NME). While West admitted that President Obama's criticism of him represented "how the world felt" at the time, West said, "I don't care if somebody's the President or not. I care about thoughts and how you helpin' people and what you bring to the world. My music brings joy to people. What I create brings joy to people. And I'm about people." West's response was lighthearted, but nonetheless pointed directly toward President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and their remarks about celebrity worship in America, namely West's fiance Kim Kardashian. When his interviewers asked him to spare the first lady from criticism, West said: "[Barack Obama] shouldn't mention my baby mama's name." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
