Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith Apologizes to Soccer Fans
. Flamengo fans were outraged when they saw the video and Smith even received death threats over the prank. Chad ended up tweeting an apology to the soccer fans: "I want to apologize for my inappropriate antics at the drum clinic,my joke about team rivalries went too far. Flamenco fans...I'm sorry." In the end, Smith more than made up for his misstep. During a concert in Rio De Janeiro on November 9 Smith wore a Flamengo shirt for the entire show.
