Jack White To Reissue Sun Records Classics
. The initial three 45rpm releases will also include Rufus Thomas's "Bear Cat" and The Prisonaires' "Just Walking in the Rain" both originally released in 1953. All three will be released on May 21. A limited 150 copies will be released on yellow and black splatter vinyl that Third Man have dubbed "sun-ray vinyl." The Third Man blog says: "This will be an on-going partnership between Sun and Third Man and future releases are already in the works. Each release remains faithful to its original issue on Sun, replicating the classic logo and label design coupled with a striking Sun company sleeve that dutifully employs the rooster Sam Philips lamented losing as labels switched from 78s to 45s." more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the antiMusic.com.
