Drake And Lil Wayne Replace Mannie Fresh In Big Tymers Reboot
. According to Wayne, the Big Tymers return started as an idea he was kicking around until Birdman moved in to make it a reality. "You can't even tell him [Birdman] an idea," said Wayne, in an interview with MTV's RapFix. "I just told him that we were thinking about it, and he just hit me and said we're looking for some music today." The Big Tymers' founding members consisted of Birdman and Cash Money's in-house producer Mannir Fresh, who left the label in 2005 citing a financial dispute. Birdman confirmed that the producer would not be a part of the new incarnation of the Big Tymers in any capacity. Mannie Fresh was one half of the group and it's sound engineer, which makes the new additions feel like a new band altogether. While they all have collaborated in the past Birdman and Wayne have connected on a number of releases over the years, and Drake is currently signed to the Cash Money labelthe band is a major expansion of the Big Tymers' crew. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
