. According to the Tri-County Sun Times, West had called 911 to report two male intruders had "forcibly entered his house by kicking in the front door." The guitarist allegedly ran out of his back door and into nearby woods for safety. While there's no indication that the responding Sumter County deputies located any such intruders, what they did discover was a "strong acidic odor from the bedroom." They found plastic bottles, tubing and other materials consistent with those used to produce methamphetamine. After further questioning regarding some of the items found hidden inside a cooler, West admitted that "they were cooking it," with no clarification as to who "they" might be. more.
