Nicki Minaj Vs Fellow American Idol Judge Mariah Carey

. Nicki Minaj has taken her feud with fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey off the air with a stream of online postings where she bashes Carey.

Minaj and Carey had a series of heated exchanges on "American Idol" Wednesday night. According to TMZ during the show, Carey taunted Minaj for never having a No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100.

During the broadcast Minaj also took some shots at Carey including pulling out a cotton swab and telling Carey to clean out her ears. She continued the fight online with a series of postings on Twitter Thursday.

In one Tweet Minaj addressed the rumors that American Idol were trying to replace Carey with former Idol judge Jennifer Lopez mid-season due to low ratings:

"All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that."

And in another Tweet she wrote, "What u SHOULD be doing (wit your messy ass) is asking why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE, and bitter."
