Thin Lizzy R.I.P.
. After touring the past few years as Thin Lizzy, the lineup adopted the new band name last fall to start recording a new album with a clean slate, and out of respect to the legacy of the late Phil Lynott. "Tomorrow is the last show that Thin Lizzy will be playing for quite some time," posted singer Ricky Warwick on Friday before the show. "I would like to take this opportunity to say from the bottom of my heart how much of a privilege, honor and dream come true this experience has been. To have spent the last 3 years being part of such a fantastic legacy has been amazing. I would like to thank Darren Wharton and Brian Downey for their musicianship and friendship and wish them all the best in all their future endeavors. I would to thank all of you out there for your past and continued support. And of course Mr. Phil Lynott for letting me stand beside your shoes, you have taught me so much." more on this story hennemusic is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
