. Watson was reportedly in talks to take on the role but now the frontrunner for the role is reportedly Saoirse Ronan, according to Perez Hilton. Ronan is best known from the title role in the 2011 film Hannah and is in pre-production for the title role in Mary Queen of Scots, according to IMDB. Cate Blanchett is set to star as the evil stepmother in the film and Kenneth Branagh has signed on to direct the film with filming expected to begin later this year.
