. Bowie's new release, The Next Day, has sold 56,000 copies during its first day in stores in the UK, according to Noise11.com. They report that Bowie is now on track to claim the no. 1 spot on the charts, his nights chart topper in the U.K. Bowie has handedly topped Bon Jovi's release "What About Now," which is only selling about one-third the pace of the Bowie album, according to the report.
