Gerard Butler Talks New Movie and Current Girlfriend With Extra

. (Extra) Gerard Butler sat down with "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli and opened about Romanian girlfriend, Madalina Ghenea and his new film, "Olympus Has Fallen."

Jerry asked Butler about dating model Madalina Ghenea, saying he read that Gerard hasn't been happier or calmer. Gerard joked, "I don't know about calmer, happier, ya�she's amazing." He went on to say, "I met a great girl. I met her here in New York and we hung out all night, didn't even kiss, tried on my hat collection and I said 'I'm coming to visit you in Milan,' and three days later, I was at her door in Milan. She was like, "Whoa!" Jerry asked, "Is that a euphemism for something?" Gerard said seriously, "No, I have so many hats!"

Jerry asked, "Could be this be the one, you ready to settle down?" Gerard, "I'm having fun, I'm very lucky, she's a great girl."

Regarding Butler's new film, "Olympus Has Fallen," while Gerard did have fun filming, playing a secret service agent and producing next to director Antoine Fuqua, he also admitted there were some difficulties.

There were some mishaps during a fight scene where Dylan McDermott's character flicked a cigarette at Butler, and he even lost a fingernail. Gerard said, "Of all my injuries in the movie, and I had a few, it was the most painful." The toughest part of being a producer? "Trying to get the epic scale of the movie," said Gerard. Extra
