TMZ reports that a representative for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told them that deputies went to Springfield 's L.A. home on Friday morning to execute the warrant but by the time he was being booked, Springfield 's attorney had the warrant recalled.

Springfield was subsequently released and posted a message to fans via his Facebook page from the Lost Hills sheriff station.

He wrote, "I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and I am free to go."
