Beyonce and Jay-Z Duet Part of Summer Release Plans?
. Drake announced over the weekend, via Twitter, that his forthcoming album, Nothing Was the Same, is set to drop September 17. In addition to the promise of new music, Drake released four new tracks for fans, one of which includes a feature with J. Cole. But Drake isn't the only addition to the album summer line-up. Last week, we learned of Jay-Z's surprise announcement of Magna Carter Holy Grail, which drops July 4. Big Sean also revealed that his next album, Hall of Fame, will be released August 27 through the form of a video announcement. And don't forget Wale's The Gifted hit stores this past Tuesday (June 25). Also on deck: Hartford radio station Hot 93.7 (a Radio.com station) spoke with Fabolous about his upcoming August release and his hopes for a Nas and Eminem collab. "We've' been talking about working together, me and Nas," he said. "That's a collaboration I haven't done yet and I think it would be a great one for New York." Meanwhile, DJ Jenny Boom Boom of Hot 93.7 weighed in on the likelihood of additional summer releases from Eminem and a duet album from Jay-Z and Beyonce.
