Mariah Carey Delays Her New Album Release
. Carey was expected to release the album on July 23, following the release of its first single "#Beautiful" back in May. The track, in collaboration with Miguel, has been a surprise smash, generating positive reviews from all corners. Carey's tweets indicate she needs more time creatively with the album to get it to the place she'd like it to be and that perhaps she's not yet finished writing all of the songs she intends to place on the album. "While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don't feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23," she tweeted. "I'd rather not exclude meaningful songs. I want to give you this album as it's meant to be heard. When I'm ready, you'll be the first 2 know!" more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
