Drake Releases Four New Songs and Reveals Album Details
. The rapper tweeted out a link Saturday morning (June 22) to the new tracks on his October's Very Own website. The titles were "Jodeci Freestyle" featuring J. Cole, "Versace" with Atlanta group Migos, "The Motion" featuring Sampha, and "Over Here" with PartyNextDoor. Just a day later, Drizzy put up a teaser video for the upcoming album, which sees him taking shots out of his 2012 GRAMMY award for Best Rap Album and waxing poetic on his journey in the music industry. "It's so weird, you know, you say you're gonna do something and then it actually happens," he says in the clip on finding success as an artist. "Then it happens again and it happens again, and you just wonder like does it run out? What is it? Is it the power of being young? Is it desire? Is it hunger?" If the new songs are any indication, the aptly named Nothing Was The Same could show off a new direction for the rapper. While none of the tracks are confirmed to have made the final cut, they see Drake trying out diverse styles, from the bouncy "The Motion" to the trap-influeced "Versace." More including streams.
